Dates that depend on your business
- Colorado Periodic Report: required every year, with a $25 fee. Each entity has its own reporting month, shown as "Periodic report month" on its Summary page in the Secretary of State's business database. The report can be filed two months before that month or two months after it without penalty. If it is not filed, the entity's status becomes "Delinquent". See Colorado.
- Sales tax returns: each state assigns your filing frequency and due date. Check your account or your state's due-date guide. See economic nexus and Colorado local sales tax.
- Federal payroll tax deposits: they follow a separate schedule from the returns above, based on how much tax you owe.
